DESCRIPTION:

Fortseal Cornice Adhesive is a high strength pre-mixed adhesive paste specially formulated to bond polystyrene tiles, roses and lightweight wall tiles - to most construction substrates. Fortseal Cornice Adhesive is highly flexible and will not crack overtime.

KEY APPLICATION:

1. Fortseal Cornice Adhesive is primarily used for polystyrene cornices and can be used for polystyrene walls and ceiling tiles.

2. Adheres well to cement, gypsum, plaster, glass, aluminum, polyurethane, polystyrene, painted surfaces and wood (treated and not).

2. Fortseal Cornice Adhesive has a good initial grab and can be painted over with suitable paint.

3. Fortseal Cornice Adhesive can be used as a filler for holes, gaps and any inconsistencies in the cornice.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

1. Surface Preparation:

1.1 Ensure surfaces to be bonded are smooth, clean and free from dust, dirt, oils and other residues. For best results roughen walls and ceiling with sand-paper.

1.2 Test product on a sample before installation to ascertain suitability.

1.3 NOTE - If adhesive is applied to wet surfaces, the drying time will increase substantially.

2. The product is supplied premixed and ready for use. Do not attempt to dilute or add any

solids to the mixture.

3. Apply a bead or enough adhesive directly onto the cornice edges, top and bottom.

4. Press firmly the cornice onto the wall ensuring that the adhesive makes contact with all surfaces.

5. For heavy cornices or long sections, use panel pins to support the cornice until the glue has dried.

6. Use adhesive to fill in any holes or gaps in the cornice, ceiling or wall

7. Wipe away any excess adhesive with a damp cloth or sponge before it dries.

8. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to dry completely.
